Set up a Grok Bot to find jobs and tailor your résumé

Tailoring one résumé is quick. Tailoring one for every promising posting, every week, is where it gets tedious. A Grok Bot can take on the repetitive part.

What the bot does

• Looks for jobs that match the roles, locations and preferences you describe.
• Prepares a tailored résumé draft in your Experiencer account for each match, starting from your main résumé.
• Reports back with the postings and their drafts so you can decide what to send.

You stay in control. The bot proposes changes, and they’re saved only through Experiencer’s approval step. Applying for a job is still your decision.

Set it up

1. Save your main résumé to your Experiencer cloud account. The bot works from saved documents only.

2. Add the Experiencer connector to your Grok Bot. Use the Grok connector address shown above (it ends in ?client=grok, which Grok needs), then sign in to Experiencer and approve access. Connect an AI assistant shows the Grok connector steps.

3. Tell the bot what you’re looking for. For example:

   Each weekday, look for senior data analyst roles in Phoenix or remote in the US. For each one that fits, prepare a tailored copy of my main Experiencer résumé, keep it to one page, and send me the posting link with a summary of what you changed. Don’t apply to anything.

4. Review the drafts. Open each draft in Experiencer, make any final edits directly on the page, and export the PDF when you’re ready.

What you need

• An Experiencer account. Connecting an AI assistant works on every plan, including Free, within your plan’s MCP usage limits. Pro templates need Experiencer Pro; the free gallery templates work on any plan.
• A Grok Bot that can use custom connectors.
