Keep the résumé you already love

Bring your polished DOCX or PDF résumé. Your AI assistant rebuilds it in Experiencer, layout included, and you keep editing it directly on the page.

Plans: Connecting an AI assistant works on every plan, including Free, within each plan's MCP usage limits. Pro templates need Experiencer Pro.

A DOCX résumé side by side with its Experiencer rebuild, then a direct edit on the page.

Most résumé builders ask you to start over. You paste your content into one of their templates, and the design you spent hours on is gone.

Experiencer works the other way around. You keep your design.

How it works

  1. Start with the file you already have. A DOCX or PDF you’re happy with is the best starting point.
  2. Ask your AI assistant to rebuild it in Experiencer. Connect an assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Grok to your Experiencer account, give it the file, and ask it to recreate the résumé. The assistant rebuilds the content and the layout: columns, section order, fonts, spacing and colors.
  3. Check the result. As a rough estimate from our own use, not a measured result, the rebuild usually gets you about 95% of the way to the original. Expect to adjust a few details by hand, such as a margin, an icon or a line break.
  4. Edit directly on the page. From then on, click any text on the résumé to change it. What you see in the editor is what you get in the exported PDF.

The assistant shows you a preview before anything is saved. Nothing is written to your account until you approve it.

Why not just use a template?

Templates are fine if you don’t have a résumé yet. If you already have one that looks the way you want, moving it into someone else’s fixed template means giving up that design. Experiencer rebuilds your layout as an editable document instead, so the résumé stays yours.
